WASPI Scam warning

Many of our members are women born in the 1950’s who are covered by the WASPI women campaign. We are waiting for the new government to make a decision on the Ombudsman’s report which recommended compensation. They were noticeably silent in the Budget and say they are still deliberating.

It has been highlighted that scammers are taking advantage of this and offering women ‘help in claiming’ and taking their details to steal from them. Don’t fall for this as yet there is no compensation scheme. Don’t share your details. Be alert!
