Re-Engage launch Rainbow Call Companions for LGBT+ over 75s

Rainbow call companions, the Re-Engage free telephone befriending service for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT+) older people has launched.

Their research told Re-Engage that there is a real need for this service, but we are also keenly aware of how difficult it is to reach older members of the LGBT+ community, many of whom suffer chronic loneliness as a result of decades of privacy and self-concealment.

Please do help spread the word to offer friendship and an opportunity to talk openly, without fear of judgement.

Visit the Re-Engage Rainbow Call Companions site to apply for yourself or someone else.

Meet Julian, one of their new Rainbow Call Companion volunteers.
